Venue Management
With 20+ years experience of running major international venues, our Managing Director - Geoff Fenlon, has been involved in providing consultancy services to over 100 conference centres and venues. This has taken the form of end user consultancy, feasibility studies, operational advice, strategic developments and learning journeys.
For example we provided expert advice to Belfast City Council and acted as the Interim Managing Director for the The Belfast Waterfront and Ulster Hall. In carrying out this role our MD oversaw the £30m expansion of the Waterfront and the transformation of the business in line with the funders conditions.
In addition Geoff has run the UK's largest and most profitable convention centre (ICC Birmingham), been a Director of the Carnegie Conference Centre and been a senior member of the start up teams for the P and J Live Arena, CCD (Dublin) and the EICC (Edinburgh).
Improving Public Service
Excellence in Work provides a bespoke service to every customer. We have considerable experience in working with the Public Sector. This includes developing programme and project business cases using the Treasury 5 Case model, organisational transformation, advising on governance and operational delivery.

Business Excellence
Our Managing Director has been using the European Foundation for Quality Management Principles of Excellence and the Excellence model since 1994. He led the Edinburgh International Conference Centre to win the EFQM Global Excellence Award in 2003 and guided several venues on their journey to Excellence.
